We know that Clyde North is a fantastic family suburb that is quickly growing into a modern community hub. But with so much for families to organise and during the big move to Clyde, it’s often weeks until you’re able to take a breath and explore the beautiful environment and truly feel like you can call it home!

Our team at Clyde North Tuckers Road YMCA Early Learning Centre want your family to be able to enjoy the places this community has to offer, such as parks, as soon as possible!

Below are some wonderful, child-friendly parks all a short walk or drive away, so give yourself a break and enjoy the surrounds today!

Ramlegh Park

Just off Skyline Crescent, the newly finished, Ramlegh Park offers a fantastic grassy park, playground and soft walking track. This park was designed with the combination of adventure and safety in mind! It has wooden park benches and playground equipment to suit all ages. The playground features traditional swings, and slides to climbing wall, balancing beams, your child will be able to grow and find new physical challenges at this wonderful park!

New MacDonald’s Farm Park

The New MacDonald’s Farm Park in Ramlegh Springs is directly opposite our Clyde North Tuckers Road YMCA ELC, and will surely be the loved by the children for excursions!

Currently, still under construction, MacDonald’s farm park is a testament to the owners of Ramlegh Springs and the designers drew inspiration for the playground from “New MacDonald’s Farm”, a series of books written by the MacDonald family.

Families can expect to see the New MacDonald Farm characters, such as the 6 farm animals feature throughout the parkland, making it a magical spot for children to explore their imagination. We can’t wait until it’s open!

Cascades on Clyde Wetlands

If you and your family have a moment to spend half a day out and about and get your steps up- Cascades on Clyde Wetlands is a beautiful reserve that offers walking tracks and picturesque lakes that are home to swans, ducks and herons. The wetlands also have a modest playground, with a soft track for children to ride their bikes or scooters on. With a large grassy area to have a picnic and to let the dog off the leash – Cascades on Clyde would be a wonderful afternoon destination!
