Meet Taylor – one of the luckiest people living in Clyde North!

She was one of the first registered families of Clyde North Tuckers Road and the lucky winner of our 3 Months of Free Care competition! Taylor is a new mum to beautiful baby Wynter living local to the centre. Being one of the first families to tour the new centre, we were keen to know what she thought!

Are you local to the area?

Yes, we live quite close to the centre – within walking distance from home which is lovely!

What are you excited for in Clyde North Tuckers Road YMCA ELC? (Why did you choose us?)

The location is extremely convenient for our family which will make going back to work a lot easier as it helps to relieve the stress of starting child care.

How did you find out you were the lucky winner of our 3 Months of Free Care competition? What were you doing when you received the news?

I received a voicemail from one of the enrolment consultant’s saying I had won! At the time I was just at home watching TV alongside my daughter Wynter when I found out the news.

How does 3 months of free care help you and your family?

This will help me able to adjust going back to work, especially after having a year off work for maternity leave. The money we save during this time will really help to go towards exciting things such as saving to go on a holiday.

What was your experience with the enrolment process?

The enrolment process was pretty straightforward, the form was self-explanatory and it told you what to do. I did at one stage find a question difficult but I knew I was able to speak to an enrolment consultant and she was able to help me finalise my enrolment.

What were your thoughts on your guided tour of CNTR?

The centre is looking great! I thought it had a great layout, with lots of natural lighting as the centre is filled with big windows (especially in comparison to other centres we have been to). It was spacious and I like how convenient it is to have the Kingswim swimming pool right next door (which we are looking at joining).

As a parent, what is the most important thing to you in an Early Learning Centre?

I want Wynter to feel as comfortable at the centre as she does at home. We want her to be able to make lots of friends and establish good relationships with her educators
