Elise - Centre Manager
How long have you been working in Early Learning Education?
I have been working in the Early Learning Education Sector for the past 15 years, starting out as an assistant and working my way through my studies whilst working full-time until I gained my Diploma.
What do you enjoy doing on the weekends?
Spending quality, uninterrupted time with my son and husband, as well as exercising and fresh air!
Name 5 words your friends would use to describe you:
Empathetic, Compassionate, Understanding, Humorous and Loyal
What are you most excited about?
Building a team, and a centre that the Clyde North families and the YMCA will feel confident in and are proud to have in their community. I’m also excited to be part of a community based organisation which holds the same values as my own.
Why are you passionate about Early Learning?
Being an Early Childhood Professional means that I can make an impact on the children of tomorrow, our future!
I believe having strong partnerships with families allows the children to grow and develop into confident learners.
Early Childhood is such an important stage in life, it is where most of a person’s learning and development happens, and to be a part of that is an honour.
