We are thrilled to introduce and welcome Elise, Clyde North Tuckers Road YMCA ELC’s Centre Manager. Elise will begin her new role in November, ready for centre tours starting in December. While you wait, read below to get to know Elise!

How long have you been working in Early Learning Education?

I have been working in the Early Learning Education Sector for the past 15 years, starting out as an assistant and working my way through my studies whilst working full-time until I gained my Diploma.

What do you enjoy doing on the weekends?

Spending quality, uninterrupted time with my son and husband, as well as exercising and fresh air!

Name 5 words your friends would use to describe you:

Empathetic, Compassionate, Understanding, Humorous and Loyal

What are you most excited about?

Building a team, and a centre that the Clyde North families and the YMCA will feel confident in and are proud to have in their community. I’m also excited to be part of a community based organisation which holds the same values as my own.

Why are you passionate about Early Learning?

Being an Early Childhood Professional means that I can make an impact on the children of tomorrow, our future!

I believe having strong partnerships with families allows the children to grow and develop into confident learners. Early Childhood is such an important stage in life, it is where most of a person’s learning and development happens, and to be a part of that is an honour.
